Maryam Ziaie Matin, M.D., F.A.C.P.

Dr. Maryam Ziaie Matin has been a staff physician at On Lok. She is board certified in internal medicine, and fellowship-trained in geriatrics and palliative care.

She has served as medical director, private practitioner (currently part time), and hospitalist, caring for underserved populations.

Dr. Ziaie Matin earned her medical degree from Tehran, Iran at Shahid Beheshti Medical School. She completed her internal medicine residency at St Luke's Roosevelt (currently Mt. Sinai West) in New York City and her geriatrics fellowship at Stanford. She is on the Hospice and Palliative Care Board; a Fellow of the American College of Physicians; and a member of American Geriatrics Society and AMDA.

In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, swimming, outdoor activities, music and cinema.

Dr. Ziaie Matin speaks English, Farsi, and conversational Spanish.
